Aaaahhh at last a proper decent session. Maybe the crappest winter EVER is finally over.

Couldn't get out of work yesterday for a day of 4.0 weather but fortunately the wind continued through to today. Went to work in the morning then pulled a quality skive for the afternoon and headed to Shoreham.

Windy...wall-to-wall sunshine...couldn't believe my eyes!!! Almost felt like summer...almost. Started off on the 5.2/skate combo but was overpowered. Tide was still up and lumpy bumpy crap so came in to wait for it to drop. Changed to the wave board with a bit more downhaul on the 5.2 and was now much better.

No waves to speak of and water was lumpy/choppy as hell. But sun was shining, wind was constant, can't complain! My sailing was understandably rusty but all in all a very satisfying and un-painful (i.e. not cold) long session.

More wind is promised for later this week. Friday looks good hopefully can pull another morning skive.
